What We Do

Italspazio designs and develops advanced satellite payloads and ground-based systems that support critical applications in signal intelligence, GNSS interference detection, and secure space communications. Our engineering expertise spans RF systems, microwave technologies, and FPGA-based signal processing, with a strong focus on compact, high-performance architectures for CubeSats and small satellite constellations.

We create and integrate mission-ready technologies such as ELINT payloads, communication subsystems, monopulse tracking systems, and ground-based antennas, designed to operate across complex electromagnetic environments. These systems are developed with both civil and defense use cases in mind, supporting domains like navigation security, strategic surveillance, and secure infrastructure monitoring.

With in-house prototyping, testing, and custom integration capabilities, Italspazio ensures fast development cycles and tailored solutions that meet evolving mission demands. Our technologies are built to be modular, scalable, and ready for real deployment — in orbit and on the ground.

Located in Sicily, our site hosts Italspazio’s central operations and technical backbone. This is where all laboratory activities, mission planning, systems engineering, and technical developments are carried out.
